Basement build-out, framing to finish

Framing, drywall, a brick accent wall and finish work turning a bare basement into rooms.

A basement room with drywall hung, taped and floated, and a pair of teal double doors

Basements are where the “all around” part earns its keep. This one needed framing, drywall, doors, a brick accent wall, lighting and trim — and every one of those has to be planned against the ones that come after it. Frame it wrong and the drywall tells on you. Hang the drywall wrong and the trim never closes.

Done in sequence, in one set of hands, without a handoff between four different subs who each blame the last one.
